СКАЧАТЬ Digital Image Processing using SCILAB БЕСПЛАТНО EPUB - DOC - DJVU - RTF - PDFОписание: This book provides basic theories and implementations using SCILAB open-source software for digital images. The book simplifies image processing theories and well as implementation of image processing algorithms, making it accessible to those with basic knowledge of image processing. This book includes many SCILAB programs at the end of each theory, which help in understanding concepts. The book includes more than sixty SCILAB programsof the image processing theory. In the appendix, readers will find a deeper glimpse into the research areas in the image processing.
The ultimate question that arises for us is, what happens when we look at an object? The process starts with the eye capturing the object and sending signals to the brain. These signals are decoded by the brain and important information is obtained—this is called image processing . This combination of the eye and brain develops the ultimate imaging system. Image processing as a subject involves processing images (captured by camera) by computers using algorithms written for this purpose. Here, the camera replaces the eye and the computer does the work of the brain.
Image processing involves changing the nature of an image in order to either improve its pictorial information for human interpretation or render it more suitable for autonomous machine perception.
This book contains the fundamentals of image processing techniques and various ways to modify image data to achieve the desired image data. This book also introduces the concepts and fundamentals of SCILAB—an open-source tool for processing discrete time signals. With the help of SVIP Toolbox, image data can also be processed and modified using SCILAB. This book begins with the fundamentals of SCILAB and a basic introduction to it. It presents various kinds of signals, from one-dimensional to multidimensional, with a specific focus on two-dimensional image signals.
The book delves into the importance of image enhancement techniques and explains the fundamentals of the histogram and its processing. In addition, filtering an image’s data signal is considered specifically important. Since noise plays a very important role in image processing, this book focuses on restoration of the image from a degraded version that has occurred because of the introduction of noise. An explanation of various image segmentation techniques is also provided, followed by a detailed discussion of one very important aspect of image processing: morphological image processing. This is followed by discussion of some aspects of color image processing. Finally, some real-world applications of image processing are discussed.
